Eliza "Dew"little Birthday: February 2, 2013 Height: 6.25 inches/15.88 cm standing
A kitten! I've been procrastinating on making one for a long time because I was struggling with the idea of how to do whiskers and the feet. I eventually solved both problems but felt Eliza's face didn't need whiskers. I spent a lot of time playing with different ideas of how to do her feet and make her still stand but settled with this. I hope you enjoy all the time and love I put in her. She's an adorable little girl.
Mediums: German Helmbold Mohair, German Glass Eyes, Wool, Cotter Pin Joint, Upcycled Polyfil

That's the thing I love about mohair bears & friends. With each one, they each have their own unique personality which I could never duplicate even if I tried. I definitely was nervous about making a cat, so it did take a lot more brainstorming, but I'm very happy with how she came out. I sometimes just pick her up to tilt her head from side to side while I'm working XD
awwww that's so sweet! they really do! i'm truly so moved by how much individuality all of your darling creations have ^^ awhh there was no reason to be nervous! xD she came out soooo beautifully ;; u ;; she looks so soft as well, her cuteness has me completely captivated xD
aww she looks so adorable!! I love how you can pose her (well, sort of anyways hehe~) and perhaps I don't look carefully enough, but I love the shape of her eyes, it definitely suits her better than the usual round eyes!
That's adorable!! I love how fuzzy she looks *A* Her paws aren't "drawn" this time right? It seems like you felted the pink in it! It's an awesome idea! Laine you're improving sooo much! I'm jealous XD
AAAAH LOOK AT THIS KITTY OMG. She's so adorable and I adoooore her name so much. Oh gosh her paws, too much cute to handle. HER LITTLE FURRY FACE IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! So are her ears, and the blush and the ribbon. Aaaah Laine your plushies are getting SO good, they always continue to amaze me. I can't wait for you to be the most famous teddy bear maker ever!
AHHHHHHH KITTY!!! I love kittens! <33333333 This makes me so happy, you have no idea. The ears are perfect! This pattern is so adorable! I love the feet and tail and how she can stand up. I adore the pink nose and subtle blush. Her eyes are very soft and cat-like. You did a wonderful job as always, definately a new favorite.
<333 ;u; Omg finally a kitten made by you, Laine. She is gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous <3 //somuchinlove. ><
I really love this pattern the most from you. The chubbyness with the big feet makes her about x1000 times cuter than any other cat plushy I've seen in my life. The ribbon adds to it, especially the one on the tail. Very, very cute idea. And you keep improving so much on faces. It looks so kitten-like, with the chubby cheeks and a hint of a shy smile.
I can't hold my feels for this ;u; again you amazed me and made me drool all over my screen for your plushies. <3
Aww thanks Kimmy. Well the thing about cats is that they only walk on the pink pad part, and the rest of the foot is sorta like an extension of the leg, but I couldn't get her to balance that way. I found a photo of a kitten that was standing on its hind legs with the entire foot down, so I decided to go with that model. Surprisingly the tail and ears were the parts where I struggled to get a natural shape. I was trying to tell the difference between cat and fox ears for the longest time
Wow I didn't know that about cats *O* I'm glad you made her that way, she just so precious I love how when she's standing her little round tummy sticks out You could never tell by looking at her that you struggled with those parts, her ears look perfectly cat like ~<33333
