My Life
Ugh. I just got home from Minnesota where there was a blizzard in April of all times. I was there for a wedding, which was supposed to be a spring wedding, but instead we were in our sun dresses in 18 inches of snow. Now that I'm back in the heart of the Big Apple, rehearsals are going to eat me up. The cast has rehearsal Mon, Tu, Th, and Fri. Wednesday we have a preview performance so just as bad. Ekk, same day I have some dental work being done. Let me tell you: whoever thought opera or musical theater is easy, please do not audition. Brutal rehearsals on top of classes is not fun.
Yesterday was prop day, so now that we have our fans and parasols, I got a million splinters being accident prone that I am. (Btw the show we're doing is
Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan) I can't wait for the heavy kimonos and only God knows what shoes the costume designer is going to make us wear. I hope it's not character shoes. That's just weird.
My Gallery
I took a few hundred pictures in Central Park after deciding that no guy was worth moping at home for. So I nearly got sun burn last week after staying outside for about four hours, just snapping landscape shots and candids of the NY population enjoying the sun after a long winter. So I'll be editing and cleaning those up and will soon be updating.
I also got about two hundred wedding shots, which make terrific candids. It was the most unusual wedding I've been to. A potluck reception where you were told to wear picnic attire.

He's your rising self-taught photographer. Interesting enough, he had begun by taking photos on his cell phone, but finally got a digital camera. YAY for increase of mega pixels, but I hear it still sucks. Next year will be his last year of school (no idea what level though) He's also pretty new to this exposure thing. Took a lot of digging to find out anything about him. OH and he enjoys guitar and black metal.
Mjosa has to be one of my most favorite out of his gallery. While it is his first panoramic, it captures a variety of beautiful light.

s for him. Hope you take a peak.
